  • Melt It OFF scam!!

the exercise progam is great but BE WARNED the enroll you in all kinds of programs with extra charges that you wont know about until you see your credit card bill. The people on the phone are outsourced and not helpful at all - it takes forever for them to understand you or credit your account. i am so sorry ordered this product it's not worth the time i had to spend on the phone repeatedly trying to get my account credited. Very unhappy customer. i think this is a scam. More...

I used this program for six months and lost 62 pounds. I was faithful to follow the program and do the exercise DVD's. My only complaint is there is not a maintenace plan that goes along with the program. After eating the same foods for six months, I was ready to add some foods back into my diet. After six more months ,I have gained 25 pounds back. I really liked the meal replacement drink but it is very expensive and it takes several weeks to receive it when you order. I have never seen the replacement dring on sale. I did take the Boost supplement pill for the six months I was... More...

  • Horrible experience

This company needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau for their shameful practices.I ordered this dvd online after seeing the infomercial. I kept receiveing calls from a call center trying to sign me up for some service that I clearly told the representative I did not want.I was extremely disappointed when the package arrived and did not include all of the items promised in the infomercial. I just received a bill for some pills that I did not order. I called customer serivce to stop this shipment and future shipments. We'll see if that actually happens. This is a scam.... More...

  • tv advertised, internet and phone call orders

These people "record" the conversations between you and them. Ask to hear the conversation from your order if you called in or if you called in to cancel something. Use the court system in your favor but make sure you give true facts and not falsify any information because they can come back and get you if they choose to. I dealt with the customer service jerks on a number of occasions because they were charging me for pills and services I never asked for, but they said that that's what I ordered. So I told them when you order it online or by phone there is not much options... More...

  • Unauthorized use of credit card

I am having my bank account charged $19.99 every month, illegaly and WITHOUT my knowledge or consent. About 6 months ago I called the number provided on a TV ad for the Melt-it-off with Mitch Gaylord excersize video and Ball. It was a horrible experience, the automated order line used every trick in the book to get me to add to the offer I had seen and called about. There were 8 or 10 additional products and a very confusing express shipping offer that I was very careful to NOT order. I made it VERY CLEAR that I only wanted the minimum offer as was on TV. I would have just hung up but was... More...

  • So disappointed review

All I wanted was to purchase a reasonably priced workout dvd. While trying to do so I had to turn down nearly a dozen additional ridiculous add ons, only to find I was automatically enrolled in several trial programs. A day or two after placing my initial order I called to cancel any subscriptions and the male customer service rep assured me all was cancelled and I would not see any further charges. That was in October and for the last 5 months I've been charged $26.98 and can not get them to let me speak with a manager let alone offer a refund. I feel completely abused and ripped... More...

Just recently ordered the Melt if OFF package advertised on T.V. what a terrible terrible time that was. The phone system is completely automated and you say yes or no if you would like to add all these extras, but even the slightest sound you make or any background noise, i am finding out now that all these extras i apparently said yes to. WHICH I DID NOT!! I called immediately afterwards to comfirm what i had just ordered and she told me all i had purchased< the melt it off package, 2 extra dvds, the free gel bal, along with 2 extra gel balls, meal replacement shakes, 2 bottles of... To All who put this program down. I totally do not believe you truly used it. . . truly followed the chart, and truly did not sabatage your workount with a bad diet. Seriously, I worked out from the time I was 17 years old, regularly. When I was 30 years old, I broke my foot and could not exercise for 11 months. My foot would not heal. I had to walk flat footed for 9.5 months after I got my cast off. It took me 3 years to get my mind set back. • Melt it Off Scam Mitch Gaylord

I am so disgusted with this company. When I used the telephone to order, I only ordered the basic fitness video/ball and the vitamin/online club. They sent me the additional DVD's, and when I called to ask for a return shipping label, I was told that that was what I ordered (basically calling me a liar). So I was told after more than a 45 min. phone call that the "BEST" they could do was to credit my account immediately upon receipt of the DVD's (which I had to pay to ship myself!). I sent them back, and guess what!? No, they haven't credited my account even though... More...

  • Program

I called today to complain about the continuity program charges, which I did not remember seeing on the purchase page where my credit card number was given. I was told that the information was printed on the PACKING SLIP for the DVD and Ball. I believe our State Attorney General's office has dealt with "orders" like this and since he is a friend, noted that I would be contacting them. A supervisor finally said they would credit the add-on web club and vitamin charges in 7-10 days. More...

I ordered the melt it off with mitch program from the website and paid for express shipping which was quoted as 5-7 business days. after 2 weeks of waiting I found the program on E-Bay and ordered it there. I received it in 2 days! No essentail boost vitamins to worry about and no hassles! Being a couch potato trying to get back into shape I find that it's a good work out and not too hard to follow. After reading much of your responses, I considered this product quite a rip-off. I contacted the company and requested a confirmation number and told the order person that I was recording the conversation-which I was. When I inquired that this closes out my account and I in no way will be charged in the future, the tone of her voice was not reassuring. No need to cancel your credit care, just contact the credit card company and immediately change the number. It's inconvenient, but this company will no longer have access to your account. More...

  • How to cancel

The best way to get this product without being charged for either the auto-shipment of vitamins and the on line subscription (yes, they charge for that too), is to place the order on line and don't opt for any of the extras. Then wait, till your order appears on their site, 2 days. Then call their customer service and ask them to cancel all future auto shipments and subscriptions. Make sure you get a confirmation number and also ask them to send an email. If you follow this simple instruction, you still get his program which is really good, but not any of the extras. I ordered this product a month ago and they saved my credit card info to charge me for additional products that I did not order. When I called they basically said I have to wait at least a month for my refund, once I get the product and return it to them. This is a scam. I ordered the DVD and exercise ball, and thought I was being extremely careful to read each and every box and not subscribe to any automatic shipping programs, but they got me somehow. Actually I almost abandoned the order because of multiple screens offering additional products that I had to click through. In the box with the DVD and ball was a package of "Boost Essential" I didn't retain the packaging so it's possible there was something in the fine print saying I had to decline in a certain amount of time - which I missed. I have tried Tae Bo, Slim in 6, Power 90 and Turbo Jam. None of which I liked or lost much weight with. I LIKE this workout and the eating plan is EASY to follow. If you really want a weight loss program that works, order Supreme 90 day system. You can buy the DVD's in your local Riteaide or Wallgreens. You will need a workout mat you can purchase for about $10 to $15, a work out blow up ball for about $15, and a small weight set of 2lb,5lb,10lb weights for about $12 to $20. The DVD system cost $20. It is well worth it. I have lost about 20 lbs and I have ate right during the week and eat what I want on the weekends. Good luck I hope this has been helpful.

I love the workout and the cute little ball
(I got a 4lb. ball at Sports Authority and they are $14)
However, I purchased through Amazon instead so I didn't
get the vitamin autoship. However, you only get one workout DVD with all of them on it and not 4 DVDs as pictured. And you get the 2lb. ball. I use it every day!

I'd like to hear Mitch Gaylord's responses to all these negative reviews. I saw his ad, picked up the phone to start dialing, then decided to Google his program and ended up here. I quickly put the phone back down when I saw all the complaints similar to ones I've had in the past with various organizations.

I placed my order over the phone. There was a 20 minute continuous phone tree of selling this product and that product, which I DID NOT WANT. I was VERY careful to reply "no" to all of the additional sales pitches. And what do you know, four (4) days later I received a phone call from this company. They were very fast talkers with the claim of "free gas coupons", etc. They bounced me from one person to another "to verify" this and that with the order, and I am pretty sure all-the-while they were trying to do what I would NOT do during the initial phone call and order placement. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. My regret is that I didn't find this website sooner, so that I could be enlightened. All I wanted was the ball and exercise video....Quite simple, isn't it?

I ordered this DVD - it was shipped no problems. The workout is good - makes you sweat. I didn't follow the meal plan as I am veg, and have only used the workout once, so I don't know about the claims. If you want to order without all the stress of auto-delivery of the pills, go out and buy yourself a pre-paid mastercard/visa gift card!I also had to contact customer service due to a mistake I made, and did the on-line assistance -again no problems! Hopefully I'll tone up and lose a bit of weight!

I ordered the ball/dvd set for 19.99 and THEN read
the online testimonials. So I watched my e-mail and sure enough, I had two charges. I called their customer service and was told that I was enrolled in a monthly membership program. I told them that I was contacting the Better Business Burea online as soon as I hung up with them. I did infact levy a complaint with BBB and my charges were taken off my credit card immediately. I went to e-bay and ordered the ball/dvd set used. I will never use their website again. Too bad since the product looks so
good!

Sorry that so many of you had problems. Don't think Mitch has a clue. His workout and food program is the only one that I have really seen the best results ever. Never get bored, like the various routines may not be "hollywood production" but I ordered an exercise video that works! Hollywood ones never did! Food menu was okay to stick with but lost inches and weight fast and only stayed true and loyal for 2 months. It stayed off so long as I watched portion size and exercised for a long time. Now I am doing it all over again but know that with this video it will work. Try it out. Order anyway that you can and you'll love it.

I sent them an email asking them how I could purchase the package without a credit card. They sent a response email immediately explaining that I could also purchase through the mail with a check or money order. So, I did, and paid $19.00. Received a confirmation email when they received my payment. Received my order in about a week. So, if you wanna go through all of the trouble of people on the phone, wrong orders and vitamins you don't want, by all means, call them. Otherwise, try the old-fashioned snail-mail and avoid all the headaches...... The workout is definately worth it.

Ok…I saw this on tv once night when I woke up to run to the bathroom. It look pretty good and I know for a fact getting into any new workout routine is going to be hard and I am not afraid of a little hard work to get my body back to how it was and even better than before. But this was crazy. I love the fact that there wasn’t little to no laying on the floor work …that’s what got me. The second thing that got me was it was only $14 bucks!!! But why is it that when I made the call…I didn’t talk to a live person so I made sure I listen closely to ALL they were saying because I didn’t want to get caught up! I said no to it ALL! But they don’t like you saying no. The darn thing started saying “we didn’t get you response”. That was funny!!! Then once I got to the end of my order I heard it say before it hung up on me that my order would be processed in fore days. Ok…but you didn’t tell me my TOTAL!!! So the next day I called to get the total and plus I needed to cancel for the moment and order again later…$$$ Probs!!! But they don’t like that either. The rep kept asking me why am I canceling as if I was going to give them a different answer! Ok, I asked the rep what was the total I was going to be paying and this fool tells me over $80 bucks! How did “Just $14” get over $80 bucks? Now...I still want to order it but I think I’m going to order just the things that are $14 bucks! I think its like $14.99 or something like that. I can get a similar ball at the fitness store for less money!!! I did my research! Don’t let them talk you in to getting all the extra stuff if you don’t really need it right now. They always want to make a deal so…just call and inquire about it…tell them “Nooo…that’s ok” They will start taking some money of f it. Like they did me when I canceled my order.

I was truly thinking twice before ordering the workout program because I read the reviews. I have ordered other programs and had additional charges apply to my credit card also but once I called and complained they were removed. I did not want to go through this once again so I really thought long and hard on this before coming up with a brillant item. I will share this with everyone because I believe we should only be charged for what we agree to purchase. I purchased an American Express $50.00 gift card made a purchase for $20.00 before placing my order which left me with a balance of $30.00 for the workout program and no remaining balance for nothing additional to be charged due to the fact that it was a gift card. I truly hope that this will help those that didn't place an order due to this reason.
