Hidden charges with informercial products - Melt it Off with Mitch Gaylord

The Melt-it-off Mitch Gaylord product is a scam that comes with small print charges. Similar to another review I just read, I can't get them to stop charging my credit card. The first charge was for additional Essential Boost vitamins (which I didn't want). Now, they're charging me for club membership!Don't order this product unless you want aggravation & hidden costs to show up on your credit card bill on a monthly basis.

I am just going through the exact same thing. I was send a second shipment of Essential Boost Vitamins that I had no knowledge of ordering because this was done via TV infomercial...so I sucked up the charge but immediately called to cancel EVERYTHING else related to this product. Suddenly I notice two $19.99 charges two weeks apart for which I have NOTHING...called the company and raised heck...oh, these are for the monthly website access!!! I never ORDERED monthly internet access and I had already told one customer service rep to cancel EVERYTHING...so I called again and have been told that I will be cancelled and that everything will be credited but that I should be aware it could take 30 days...I assured them that if I didn't see the full refunds within 3 business days I was going to be calling back every single day until I did and that I would slam this company all over the internet! This is completely ridiculous. I've ordered LOTS of products via TV and Online...I have NEVER been subjected to this kind of unauthorized credit card usage and I am trying to determine whether I should report them to AMEX for fraud investigation.

I recieved a new recurrent Pill charge after I was ensured that I wouldn't be charged for them each month. After I noticed my bank statement I called customer service and they said I wouldn't recieve a refund but I wouldn't be charged anymore. I then asked what happened to my refund for the 6 additional videos I didn't want and was told they just recieved them yesterday and will credit the money to my account ($59.96) in 7-10 working days????? He gave me a refund confirmation # which was the same # the first guy gave me so I asked for his name and told him if I get anymore charges I will call back. He claims I will not be charged anymore...now lets see if I get a refund. Is there anyone out there who has received a refund?

Shame on me for not listening to all the warnings! I thought I was being smart and canceled the vitamins a.s.a.p. Then two months later figured out that they are charging my credit card $19.99 a month for "on-line membership". Scam!!!!! They won't refund either, just canceled as of today. And of course, the shipping charges are ridiculous. Again, SCAM!!!!!!

But I had no idea that I had to so very carefully read the, "Free gift," info to find out that there would be 2, not just 1, $19.99 charges EVERY month for one service no one can even explain how to get to and another that would take a month to figure out you missed the fine print. It should have been more apparent that there would be continuing costs.

I tried for over an hour with the "Mich" site customer service people to find out just what the $19.99 Monthly fee is giving you, Not a Single Customer service person,(even a Supervisor,) had any idea what it was for or how to get to the site.

Why do people complain about such dumb stuff? If you got something extra CANCEL it period! Don't aggrivate yourself. I have used this program and the first thing I did was cancel the vitamin boost and the membership, Done! I love this program it has kicked my ass in ways I never thought possible. So if you don't like it get rid of it.
